Symphony responds to an alarm raised by Roderick's yelling. She clambers onto the roof and spots a clumsy individual on the roof of the building opposite Merchant’s Row. When the rogue panics, Symphony is shot, but she is able to retrieve the arrow, duck back inside via Elinor's room, and convincingly portrays herself as a wounded handmaiden to deceive the waking servants.
